New offices to accommodate expanding workforce
Cardinus, (a THB Group plc member company) - providers of online injury reduction solutions and risk management within the safety, fleet, insurance and property sectors, announces the opening of their new Headquarter Offices on 10th September 2009. The relocation of the company is in response to continued growth, despite the current economic climate.
Jon Abbott, Managing Director of Cardinus, explains:
“During the past 12 months Cardinus has experienced significant growth in revenues. Despite the challenging trading conditions we are continuing to secure large orders, especially amongst clients looking for solutions for their global risk. This increased workload has resulted in us expanding our back-office support functions, especially within our Technical Development, Technical Support and Customer Services teams.”
He went on to say “As well as supporting a larger workforce, our move to larger, purpose-designed offices enables us to consolidate our property, ergonomics and safety divisions into one central location. This will improve internal communications and provide a more engaging, constructive working environment to the benefit of staff and customers alike.”
The office move follows significant expansion within parent company THB Group. In 2008 the Group unveiled over 16,000 square feet of additional office space at its London base in Leadenhall Street. The move enabled THB to bring together all its Lloyd’s broking teams under one roof for the first time in 20 years, as well as accommodating many of the new PWS reinsurance teams acquired 6 months earlier.
