How to purchase

Cardinus training and risk assessment packages can be licensed in a number of different ways including Hosted (Internet), Intranet and Pay-per-use delivery.

Hosted service (Internet delivery)

This is currently the most popular delivery option. The software is licenced outright by the customer but is kept on Cardinus' dedicated server. This method has all the advantages of intranet delivery without the reliance on internal IT staff. All courses are priced depending on the number of users.
Typical prices are between just £2/$4 and £10/$20 per user.

Intranet delivery

Licences can be purchased enabling all courses and PACE to be installed onto a company intranet. Under this scheme all data is kept on-site and licenced employees can access the software as many times as they wish without incurring extra charges.

Installation of Cardinus courses and PACE administration system is straightforward. All learning materials and PACE reporting are copied into a folder on the intranet server. A link is made from your health & safety page to the first page of the course. All user records are saved to the server (unless a separate database location is specified). All courses are priced depending on the number of users.

Pay-per-use

Pay-per-use provides organisations with 'training credits' which can be used by all or selected members of staff. Training credits offer automatic discounts - making training highly cost-effective as well as convenient and flexible. Contact Cardinus for a quotation.

Note 1: Pay-per-use credits are only deducted when students start a course. You will not be billed for multiple accesses to the same course session by the same student.

Note 2: Pay-per-use is not currently available for US customers.

However you purchase Cardinus courses, the same high quality, powerful system is used to manage your course and risk assessment data. 'PACE' is a fully featured learning management system which also provides risk assessment and control features for DSE and manual handling.

Both Intranet and Hosted delivery options provide the option for customisation by Cardinus of safety content and risk assessment questions. This should be done prior to any major roll-out of the package.
